That's our mission statement and here's the story behind it!
I'm Gail Morello, owner and principal photographer of Pixel Perfect, a photography studio in Nashua, NH. I think there's a journey behind almost every business. Mine started years ago when my son, Jay, played competitive baseball.
I started obsessively photographing him and his teammates during games so we could remember everything. One year Jay joined a great team - the NH Grizzlies, a group of talented kids who played baseball in tournaments throughout New England and even in other parts of the country.
That year I photographed every game...
And at the end of the year I created a multimedia show. I captured the important moments in every player's year. I picked the perfect music and used state-of-the-art software with some amazing special effects. It was truly a labor of love and I thought it turned out really well.
But I was blown away by the response!
At the end of the baseball year the team held a reception to thank the parents and volunteers and recognize the accomplishments of all the players. After dinner, the lights dimmed and the show played. It lasted around 30 minutes and covered the entire year. There were wonderful highs and heartbreaking lows and the show captured them all, culminating with a great win in the last tournament of the year.
The show finished and the lights came on
And there was not a dry eye in the house. Every parent (I mean EVERY parent) was overwhelmed. I had never experienced anything quite like it - the standing ovation went on and on. And I got comments about that show for years.
I was completely taken aback
The tidlewave of emotion and the degree of the response and how my work had touched everyone was a life-changing moment. It was such a powerful experience that I knew that touching people's hearts was something that I wanted to do with my life's work.
I eventually decided that I preferred portrait work to sports photography, and that I loved working with babies, children and their families in particular.
There is nothing so emotional as the connection we have with our children!
That is really drew me to what I do today.
Now, it's hardly unusual for a photographer to "discover her love of photography" taking pictures of her own children. It's where a lot of us start.
But it takes more than love and natural talent...
To become a successful professional photographer. It takes years of study, attention to detail, infinite patience, a love of people, some insight into both child and adult psychology and the ability to deliver consistently high quality products and service. Our clients call us because they know they can count on us to deliver -

And it's why we have woven this concept into every aspect of our studio and with everyone who joins our team. This is why, when you join our studio family, touching your heart with the photos we create and the service we provide is more than words on paper - it is quite literally what I was meant to do. And, it's what everyone at Pixel Perfect strives for every day and with every single client.
